Cloud Storage
Backups are compressed and uploaded to cloud storage automatically. No local disk space concerns: your data is safe even if the host goes down.
Integrity Verification
Every backup includes a SHA-256 checksum. Before restoring, Panelra verifies the backup hasn't been corrupted.
Atomic Restore
If a restore step fails, Panelra rolls the files back to a snapshot taken just before the restore began.
Smart backup scope
Panelra backs up everything that matters (world saves, configs, plugins, and player data) while skipping the base game files (which are 7GB+ and can always be re-downloaded from Steam). This keeps backups small and fast.
Automated backup schedules
Set up CRON-based backup schedules with custom retention policies. Automatically delete backups older than a configurable number of days. Combine with wipe scheduling to automatically create a backup before every wipe.
Pre-wipe safety net
Enable automatic backups before wipes in your wipe schedule configuration. If anything goes wrong with a wipe or you need to roll back, the pre-wipe backup is always there. Force-saves the server before starting to ensure nothing is lost.
One-click restore
Pick a backup and click restore. Panelra downloads the backup from cloud storage, verifies the SHA-256 checksum, cleans the target directories, extracts the archive, and verifies the extraction. If any step fails, it automatically restores from a snapshot taken before the restore began.
